When making an appointment to try on gowns here are some helpful tips:

Bring pictures of gown styles you like, for example lace, beading, chiffon, strapless, silk.

• Use our website gallery to see the designers we carry.
• Wear nude or light colored undergarments so as not to distract from the gowns.
• Bring a shoe with the heel height you would like to wear on your wedding day.
• Bring only a few special guests to the appointment–selecting your gown should be your own personal choice.
• In addition, have a budget in mind. This helps us find the perfect dress for you.

In preparation for your first fitting:

• Plan to make your first fitting approximately 6 weeks before the wedding.
• Most fittings take 30 minutes.
• You will want to have your exact shoes for the first fitting. This is very important for the length of the dress.
• We also carry undergarments, such as corsets, which can be fitted to the bride and her dress.
• This is a great time to select jewelry or accessories to complement your dress.
